For the 14th time, beer lovers of all types gathered for the annual Denver Rare Beer Tasting event that runs in conjunction with the Great American Beer Festival. To kick off the start of the three day GABF event, breweries from all over the country gave samplings of their rarest brews to beer enthusiasts at the McNichols Civic Center Building. The event raises money as a part of Pints for Prostates and a total of 216 breweries from 44 states have poured at the event during its first 13 editions. This year, adds more names to the prestigious list with only four breweries having participated in all 14 Denver Rare Beer Tastings, another 42 breweries having poured at least five times, and 87 have made a single appearance at the event.
