Starr approached me as a fellow photographer looking to update her family photos with her husband, Rob, and son, Memphis as well as a few headshots for her business. She didn’t want the “cheesily posed” portraits of old and a downtown, city feel was a must. We worked out some ideas and I found just the right place. A little added fun, the week before the session she nonchalantly mentioned that she had dyed her hair purple and Memphis’ hair teal. This was going to be amazing! We spent a semi-cold morning together on city streets and in back alleys. Although the temperatures were down and the wind blustery I definitely enjoyed spending time with Starr’s family and wound up with some shots that she and her family were extremely happy with!
