Denver’s breakfast and brunch game keeps getting stronger. Ivy on 7th has opened under the Carboy Winery umbrella with Chef Rebecca Weitzman at the helm in the kitchen and the food is delicious. Breakfast and brunch can consist of egg dishes such as shaksuka, a Mediterranean baked egg dish, lemon-ricotta pancakes, crispy potato waffles, scrambles and more. While lunch has the Ivy Cristo, a take on the monte cristo, a vegan “reuben”, replacing pastrami with eggplant, and other local favorites.
Weitzman is back from nearly a decade spent in New York and is focusing on house-made, local, healthy breakfast dishes that taste great. Jason Snopkoski, former bar manager at Avanti, is in charge of the beverage program as an amazing complement to the food program. The bar will focus on cocktails such as house-made red and green bloody marys, aperol and St. Germaine spritzers and more traditional brunch offerings.
There’s also a coffee bar and a grab & go counter for those too busy to enjoy the light and airy feel of the space.
