It’s the beginning of December and the holidays are already in full swing. Christmas trees and menorahs have been lit, decorations are up and snow is on its way. Each year throngs of people come out in the middle of November to officially kick off the season with the annual Switch on the Lights event in downtown Boulder. People crowded into the street to watch the Denver Dolls perform carols on stage and visits from Freezy the Snowman and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus. The festive lights lit up the sky as twilight fell on the city and it was a magical way to start off the holidays!
